State Utility Issues and Energy Efficiency in Multi-Unit Housing
Indy Energy held an April 6th community forum at North Independence Mid-Continent Public Library on state utility issues and energy efficiency in multi-unit housing.
The forum included presentations by State Rep. Bill Kidd (R-Independence, who is vice chair of the House Utilities and also by Philip Fracica with Renew Missouri.
Fracica presented information of the burden of energy costs on low-income families particularly in housing which is energy inefficient.

The planned presentation by Tom Lesnak, the president of the Independence Chamber of Commerce and the Independence Economic Development Council, and will be rescheduled to another date.
This was be the tenth community forum Indy Energy has organized since 2014.
